Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation
of neuro-musculoskeletal injuries sustained during sporting, physical or occupational activity. This may include injuries to nerves,
bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments or the spine. Sports Rehabilitation also focuses on injury prevention and pre-screening as
well as rehabilitation and reconditioning after injury. Treatment and rehabilitation techniques include manual therapy techniques
such as soft tissue massage, joint mobilization and manipulation, trigger point therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, clinical
Pilates, functional movement screening and strength and conditioning. |

wellbeing of individuals in all sporting, physical and occupational activity. |
