Kevin started his training in IT Carlow completing a 2 year Higher Certificate in Physiology and Health science. Following this Kevin undertook a four year Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.

Having successfully graduated Kevin has since worked in private practice in Scotland where he assessed and treated a wide variety of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Kevin has also undertaken post graduate training in orthotic therapy, dry needling, kinesio taping and orthopaedic medicine.

Kevin has worked extensively with a variety of sports teams both in Scotland and Ireland with the main area of his practice centring on assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.

Siobhan Delea BSc (Hons) ATRC

Athletic Rehabilitation Therapist

Siobhán is co-director of Athboy Physiotherapy and Pilates and a member of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation team at the clinic. Siobhan specialises in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of all musculoskeletal injuries and conditions in the sporting and general population.

Siobhán is a member of ARTI, Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy Ireland, after completing a postgraduate competency exam to become a fully Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT) and she sits on the ARTI Domestic Committee, working on social media and increasing awareness of the Athletic Therapy speciality in Ireland. She is also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and has completed all training with the institute to become a fully certified Clinical Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor teaching the APPI method of clinical, rehabilitative Pilates. Siobhan has completed training in dry needling and medical acupuncture with the AACP, (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) and is a member of the Heath Professionals Acupuncture group, (HePAG). Siobhán likes to keep up to date with professional development and attends quarterly study seminars with the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FSEM) in the Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI) and regular CPD events with APPI, WFATT (World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy) and other Sports Medicine and Pilates bodies in Ireland and the UK.

Siobhán has a special interest in the role of exercise and movement for the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions and other general health conditions. In 2021 Siobhán aims to complete specialist training with CanRehab Trust, a UK based charity and training provider who use evidence-based research to train fitness and health professionals in cancer rehabilitation and exercise and hopes to develop this service for patients in the Co. Sinéad Delea

Sinéad is a business studies graduate with an upper second-class honours degree from Athlone Institute of Technology, County Westmeath, Ireland. After graduating in 2017, Sinéad joined the clinic providing her business knowledge and expertise with a leading role as administrative executive.

Sinéad has a special interest in social media, marketing and public relations. Her greatest strength is being able to nurture and expand Athboy Physio as a business and the clinics current and future client base.
